a web portal that provides hot discount information in town and reward user with e-voucher from selected merchants.

three sections of jakbeat.com:
- general shopping tips and info (news, article and tips)
- all discount information
- free/discount voucher giveaway

user persona:
- Jakarta and surrounding area citizen
- 16-36
- high school & college student, professional, housewives, small business

- internet user (email user)

merchant profile:
- aiming for b and c
- located jakarta and surrounding area
- beauty salon and spa, restaurant, boutique, electronic store, fitness/sport center, hotel, airlines, entertainment, etc

The General Shopping Information

The Discount Information
- Browse category, by date and location
- Keyword Search in Discount Information
- Every discount program has at least one page that will expired when the program end
- registered user can choose “worth to visit”, or “maybe later” and get reminded for similar program

The e-voucher section
- Browse category, by date and location
- Keyword Search in e-voucher section
- Registered user can submit their shopping preference in edit preferences
- Registered user can collect voucher into their wish-list and earn v-point
- e-Voucher will be granted to eligible user that wish for it.

Rata-rata dari artikel masih terlalu panjang untuk konsumsi web.

Harus dipertimbangkan alternatif title setiap kali agar lebih menarik.
Mulai dicari bentuk interaktifitas dengan proses sederhana yang membuat user loyal.
Mulai dipertimbangkan pembangunan proses untuk commercial content seperti advetorial etc.

On design/ Layout:

  • Design sudah menarik dan menyediakan space untuk iklan.
  • Perlu dipertimbangkan berbagai alternatif untuk menyelipkan iklan.
  • Penyelipan form untuk comment di bawah artikel pada home perlu dipertimbangkan untuk dihilangkan.

On Interactivity:

  • Interaktivitas masih sangat minim.
  • Perbaikan interaktifitas bisa dimulai dari submit photo pada gallery dan comment.
  • Interaktifitas yang mudah untuk dilaksanakan adalah submit link.
  • Pada tingkat yang lebih tinggi, agregasi blog seperti digg.com akan menjadi senjata utama di masa depan.

On Web Marketing:

  • Target user belum tersentuh secara significant.
  • Belum menggunakan metode massive campaign, masih terbatas pada lingkungan terbatas, disebabkan oleh masih belum kepercayaan diri pada content masih rendah.
  • Perlu dipertimbangkan fasilitas dan keuntungan menjadi member.
